About CCRS in Neerlandia, AB

Covenant Canadian Reformed School is a private Christian K - 12 school located slightly east of the Hamlet of Neerlandia, Alberta. Our aim is to provide high quality education within the framework of the Bible and the Three Forms of Unity.

Our Mission Statement

Assisting Parents by Training Students for a Life of Service to God and their Neighbour through Biblical Redemptive Teaching.

Our School

We operate with one ECS class (Kindergarten) and 6 elementary classes (Grade 1, Grade 2, Grade 3, Grade 4, Grade 5, and Grade 6) as well as a full junior and senior high academic program. Our students are primarily members of the Canadian Reformed or United Reformed Churches, although other students are admitted on an individual basis after a Board evaluation. Presently we operate with 228 students.

Who we are...

We are primarily descendants of European immigrants who came to Canada. We are able to provide the level of academic excellence we do because of our united vision which is outlined in the Word of God as the Reformed Faith, and summarized in the Three Forms of Unity (The Heidelberg Catechism, the Belgic Confession, the Canons of Dort), as well as the Ecumenical Creeds: The Apostles' Creed, the Nicene Creed, and the Athanasian Creed. To find out more about us, visit our Canadian Reformed Churches website.

Our Board

Our Board is comprised of 7 members who are elected by the membership. These Board members fulfill their function in a strictly voluntary capacity. They also assume responsibility with respect to curriculum, staffing, government mandates, etc.
